Terms & Conditions

Last updated: September 2026

These Terms & Conditions apply to residential window cleaning services provided by Nash Window Cleaning.

By booking or continuing to use our services, you agree to these terms.

1. Our Service

Nash Window Cleaning provides regular residential exterior window cleaning, normally on a 4-weekly or 8-weekly schedule.

Unless otherwise agreed, regular cleaning includes:

  • Exterior window glass

  • Exterior window frames

  • Accessible external sills

  • Exterior doors where appropriate

  • Purified-water washing and rinsing

2. Conservatories

Accessible conservatory windows are included within the regular window cleaning price.

Conservatory roof panels are not included as part of standard window cleaning. Conservatory roof cleaning is a separate service and can be quoted for separately if required.

3. Quotes & Pricing

Quotes are based on the information provided by the customer, including property details, photographs and access.

If the property or access differs significantly from the information supplied, we may need to revise the price before carrying out the work.

Regular window cleaning currently starts from £15 per visit.

4. Regular Cleaning Rounds

Customers can choose a regular 4-weekly or 8-weekly cleaning schedule.

These frequencies are approximate. Cleaning dates may occasionally move due to weather, holidays, illness, equipment issues or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.

5. Text Reminders

We normally send a text message the day before your clean is due.

Customers should use this reminder to make sure any gates are unlocked and access is available.

Although we aim to send reminders consistently, failure to receive a reminder does not automatically cancel the scheduled visit.

6. Access

Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the areas being cleaned.

If a gate is locked or part of the property cannot be accessed, we will not climb over fences, gates or other barriers.

We may clean the accessible areas instead.

Where we have attended and a significant part of the service cannot be completed because access was not provided, the normal charge may still apply.

7. Weather

Window cleaning can normally be carried out in light rain.

We may postpone a clean where weather conditions make the work unsafe or impractical, including high winds, storms, heavy rain, snow or ice.

There will be no charge where we postpone a visit and no cleaning has been completed.

8. Purified-Water Cleaning

We use a professional water-fed pole system with purified water.

Windows are normally left wet after cleaning and allowed to dry naturally.

Because minerals are removed from the water, the glass can dry without the spotting commonly caused by untreated tap water.

9. First Cleans & Heavy Soiling

Standard window cleaning does not normally include removal of substances such as:

  • Paint

  • Cement

  • Silicone

  • Adhesive

  • Builders' residue

  • Heavy hard-water staining

Where additional work is required, we will discuss this with you before any additional charge is applied.

10. Existing Damage

We take reasonable care while working around your property.

Please tell us about any known fragile, loose or damaged items, including cracked glass, loose frames, faulty seals or unstable fittings.

We cannot be responsible for damage caused by pre-existing defects or components failing due to their existing condition.

11. Problems With a Clean

If you are unhappy with any part of the service, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Where appropriate, we will inspect the issue and return to correct anything that has not been cleaned to a reasonable standard.

12. Payment

We currently accept:

  • Cash

  • Card

  • Bank transfer

  • Direct Debit

Payment is due in accordance with the arrangement agreed with you.

If an account remains unpaid after reasonable reminders, we may suspend future cleaning until the balance has been cleared.

13. Cancelling or Skipping a Clean

If you need to skip or rearrange a clean, please give us as much notice as possible.

We understand that circumstances change, but repeated skipped cleans may result in the property being removed from the regular round.

14. Ending Your Regular Service

You can stop your regular window cleaning service at any time by contacting us.

There is no minimum contract period unless separately agreed.

Any outstanding charges for work already carried out remain payable.

We may also stop providing the service where:

  • Payments remain outstanding

  • Safe access cannot be provided

  • There is abusive or threatening behaviour

  • Repeated cancellations make the route impractical

  • The property can no longer be serviced safely or reasonably

15. Price Changes

Prices may occasionally change due to increased costs or changes in the amount of work required.

Where possible, we will give reasonable notice before changing your regular cleaning price.

You are free to cancel your service if you do not wish to continue at the new price.

16. Changes to Your Property

Please let us know about significant changes that may affect the service, including:

  • Extensions

  • Conservatories

  • New windows or doors

  • Building work

  • Changes to access

We may need to reassess the price if the amount of work changes.

17. Pets, Children & Garden Items

Customers are responsible for keeping pets and children safely away from our equipment and working area.

Where practical, please move fragile ornaments, toys or other easily damaged items away from areas we need to access.

18. Photographs

We may take photographs for business records or to show completed work.

We will not intentionally publish photographs that clearly identify a customer or disclose private information without appropriate permission.

19. Personal Information

Personal information such as your name, address, telephone number and email address will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection law.

We may use your contact details for service-related messages including appointment reminders, access queries and payment matters.

20. Liability

Our services will be carried out with reasonable care and skill.

We are responsible for losses that are a foreseeable result of our failure to exercise reasonable care and skill.

We are not responsible for losses caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control or by pre-existing defects at the property.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights or protections that cannot legally be excluded.

21. Changes to These Terms

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time.

The latest version will always be available on our website.
